mysql socket


How do i move the Mysql socket i have try every way i can think of to do it?

Uh, edit /etc/my.cnf and change

socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

to something else.

Or in /var/lib/mysql you could have a symlink named mysql.sock that points to the real one.
