I tried to run mysql and it seems its not working properly... i already run the safe_mysqld and it syas the sql deamon is running, when i tried to run mysql an error occurs like: cant connect to mysql.sock (111) things like that and when i tried to reinstall my linux box again which is redhat 7 it prompts me same error and mysql didnt work at all my mysql version is 23.22.22 something... what should i do pls.. help me pls:( m

There is a problem with the the mysql packages that shipped with Red Hat 7. You can either download the newest version from http://www.mysql.com or grab the updated packages from Red Hat.
