MySQL Master Redundancy

Has anybody had any luck in implementing MySQL with redundant masters? I am looking at third party solutions and was wondering if anybody has any experience, good or bad, regarding it. I need a high traffic solution with auto_incremented fields, so a cross reference will not work here. Any suggestions/comments are appreciated.
