MySQL Lockout HEELLLPP!!
 

Hi,

I installed mysql and ran it with no problem. Then I installed samba.
I don't know what I've done but I cannot access mysql using root.

For example
#mysql -h hostname
or
#mysql -p
or
#mysql -u root -p password

I get Access denied

Please help.

what message do u get exactly?
