MySQL Incorrect key file

I've recently run out of disk space on my hobby server, which seemed to cause problems with mail, probably delivering them.

I've got Postfix and Dovecot installed, with a MySQL backend, so I thought I'd have a look around MySQL tables.

Firstly, either I couldn't remember the MySQL root password or it had some how been corrupted. I managed to reset the password, but now after restarting MySQL I get the following error:

ERROR 126 (HY000) at line 1: Incorrect key file for table '/tmp/#sql_7e1b_0.MYI'; try to repair it

Thanks

no idea if this will help... but,
Have you tryed repairing mysql?
I tend to cheat and use mysql admin, but you can do a repair on the tables from the CLI. Also do a mysql dump (make a copy) of your data before you even think about trying it.
