I installed MySQL Command Center to administer my mySQL 3.23.56 setup.
That is new. So, could be a problem with the setup, but when I do many
features in MySQL Command Center, it just disappears. No error, no
message, just gone.
This happens with alot of the features. I can connect fine and look at
the tables, but other feature fail. Such as:
Double clicking on one of the users under User Administration
Often clicking on User Administration or Server Administration
Navigating within the database taI installed MySQL Command Center to administer my mySQL 3.23.56 setup.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for when it crashes, but it
seems very unstable.
Any ideas? Very possible something wrong with my setup, but I would
expect the tool would handle those conditions more gracefully, right?
I've got the same problem, and I suspect that mysqlcc has a memory leak. If I root around the syslog after a crash, sometimes I'll find that the system has been shutting down daemons because of a memory shortage (of course the fact that I've only got 49 MB might have something to do with it too). However I only see those messages after mysqlcc has crashed.
I don't think it is mysqld since that can run for ages without a problem and if I do my queries from the console, I don't have any problems. I only see it when mysqlcc is doing something.
In response to the question about starting it from a terminal session, I see:
[root@sforsgren-linux-01 mysqlcc-0.9.2-linux-glibc23]# ./mysqlcc
Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed
That only happens if I try to run it as "root" but I installed it as "sforsgren" and the files are owned by "sforsgren". Should I have installed it as root?
When I go back to "sforsgren" and run from a terminal window, I still get the same crash with most of the functions.
