MySQL Administrator Error on RH8

have downloaded the latest version of mysql administrator 1.0.18.
I followed the installation instructions, but i am unable to run the program.
I get an error saying:

./mysql-administrator-bin: relocation error: ./mysql-administrator-bin: undefined symbol: gdk_display_get_type

Do you have any clue about what is happening?
I Have RedHat 8.

Thanks for your help
