I'm using fedora as my web server. When I send out mail using mail function, the email treat as spam by yahoo! but not hotmail. Why? I'm using fixed IP. Any Idea?
most companies have spam blocking software that will block any email sent from a residential internet connection. (to clarify that means if the Email SERVER itself resides at a residential internet connection)
An example is if you have DSL or Cable at your house.
If you have a business connection with a fixed IP and a domain then your email server may need some settings adjusted to make sure the proper host names and IPs are being sent with the emails.
