Question My Rpm Database Seems To Have Died! Rh 9.0???

Hey guys,

For some reason my rpm database or whateva has screwd up... No rpms are insalling / un-installing via gui or cli. I'm running RH 9.0 and all was well till it just refused to do anything (RPM) anymore.. ?? Any ideas? Maybe some form of reset / refresh of the db?

Thanx..

Loki_VA ?

Just to make sure you should delete your existing rpm database and then rebuild it. As root do:

rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
rpm --rebuilddb
