My linux
I want to build a distor off of knoppix. (it doesn't have to be a live linux). I want it to have openoffice 2.0, firefox, thunderbird, KDE 3.2, XMMS, Xine, some games (solitare, etc), KDE apps, Wine, GIMP 2.0, X apps, QTparted, BB, tea cooker, toys, some themes/windows deco/colors/win+lin fonts/icons/winxp sounds/, K3B, helix? and some other stuff. If I ever build a distro off of that, I would use linux all the time.
When I grow up Our whole house will use linux (mine). Kid, Wife, Me. No brain roting games for my kid, only linux learning games (tux typing, etc).
Knoppix comes with a lot of stuff that I don't use. What I plan on doing is installing knoppix to my computer, install stuff I want, uninstall a lot of stuff that I don't want, config the themes etc, change all the things that say Knoppix to what I want, and change some other things like that. Then once it is finished, I will just make copys of that.
