mutt vs. nail

I've been using Berkeley mail, but have been finding it increasingly inconvenient, as I get MIME attachments quite often. I'm thinking about migrating to nail, but I know that many people use mutt. Could someone say something about the benefits of using one over the other? Since I'm already familiar with mailx and its configuration file, I'm leaning toward nail, but I'd use mutt if it had some useful feature that nail didn't (is it superior in handling mailing lists, for example; and, if so, in what way?)

Thank you.

I prefer mutt simply because it has all the features of a gui mail client without the additional graphic nonsense. Nail is very basic as far as I could see...either that or you just have to remember a lot of command options.
