Mutt sends mail as root <>

I am using Postfix, and I've set a script which runs every night to e-mail backup files to my various addresses. I'm using a mutt command to do this.

The only problem I have is that the From address is root <>, and one of the recipients is blocking the mail because it doesn't have a valid sender address. The mail delivery failure is "This message has been blocked because the return email domain is invalid".

Does anyone know how to specify an e-mail address for root, or how to specify a sender address using the mutt command? Thanks.

not sure how to set a mail name for root actually, but if you use the -H option to mutt, you can specifiy draft headers for the email. that's only according to the manpage though, not sure what would actually be IN the file to write it yourself.
