I've been wrestling with Mutt recently in an attempt to migrate away from Thunderbird.
What I would like to do is have Mutt go through each one of the Mailboxes in each one of my email accounts at startup. And then possibly list Mailboxes with 'N' messages in them in the sidebar.
At the moment I have 16 accounts listed in my muttrc as follows:
Code:
## ACCOUNT 1
source "~/.mutt/some1@mail.com"
folder-hook $folder 'source ~/.mutt/some1@mail.com'
.
.
.
## ACCOUNT 16
source "~/.mutt/some16@mail.com"
folder-hook $folder 'source ~/.mutt/some16@mail.com'
(I). Problem here is, only the last account entry is loaded at startup. I have to manually switch to other accounts using binding entries which I have also created. When I press 'y' only the Mailboxes of the accounts loaded up to that point in time are displayed.
(II). Pressing 'y' is just as good as using the sidebar but the sidebar doesn't work for me. So I would like to use it instead to list Mailboxes with 'N' messages in them.
I would be keen on any suggestions. Thanks
