Music software?

Hello linux peoples!:jawa:

I come from the land of Windows:scratch:

My work PC is Windows but I have recently had KDE 3.2 installed on my home box.

I am a musician and record music on my 4 track analog recorder and then dump them unto a CD.

My question is are there any linux programs that I could use to manipulate the music and add other instruments to the CD?

Like drums tracks or bass tracks etc.....

Right now I have something called Audacity and it is kinda limited, I like some of it's features but need something with more flexabilty.

Any ideas?:Pengy:

Try Ardour http://ardour.org/

its a digital audio workstation similar to Pro Tool, Cubase, etc.

If you like trackers there's a new one - Skale - which is basically a FastTracker II clone with Fruity Loops-like interface.
