Music player recommendation for gnome desktop

I know this one's been asked a lot, but here goes. I'm looking for a music player that - like the windows version of real player - is information dense and packs in stuff like artist with album subfolders on the left and album contents on the right.
I'm running gnome, and the ubuntu installer doesn't seem to let me try out players like amarok. But totem drives me crazy, rhythmbox is too simple, and helix is anything but information dense. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for anything you can offer.
Andrew

Amarok is the best player I have found for Linux. It is KDE based, but you should be able to install on Gnome in Ubuntu. You might have to use the advanced package manager, or change the Suite from Gnome to KDE in the drop-box for the application installer - I use Kubuntu, so it is a bit different.

or just at the command line run:
sudo apt-get install amarok

Thanks a ton bugsrevenge - it's exactly what I was looking for.
