I really want to use these software, especially Brahms since he's my favorite computer, but it won't install. What do I do?
Do I need something like the aRts package or something? help!

Mandrake 9.1, KDE.

I'm a complete newbie so tell me step by step how to do EVERYTHING. Thanks

if it's on your mandy disks, use that version. mandrake should sort out dependancies for you.

should already have aRTs. open kde control center, select sound and multimedia->sound system. select "start aRTs server at kde startup".

log out, then log in.
