Music composing software

Hey all,

I'm a big fan of Fl studio (music making software) and I have been searching for a Linux equivelent to it. I came across LMMS in my vast search, so I downloaded and instlalled it with no problems. However whenever I click on the icon, it sits there and as if it were to open yet does nothing. I'm running suse 9.2 on a up to date machiene so I don't think that I have any lack of needed hardware.
Any ideas?

By the way, if you know of any other good software I would love to be informed.

THNX,
The Redneck

You may find some useful links at http://linuxaudio.org/en/members/index.html I've never heard of FI studio, so I can't help with an equivalent. Sorry
