Multisession CD's

Not sure if this should be in Hardware or Software, seems more softwareish so here goes. After a big battle to get my Yamaha CRW4416S running with Xcdroast when I try to do a second session to a multisession CD I get an error presumably from CD Record that it is waiting for the reader process to fill the input buffer which is where it will sit, CTRL-C being the only way out killing Xcdroast. The first session burns and works a treat and is readable.
I have done all the normal things of importing the previous session/s etc etc, anybody had this or know why it may be doing this.

The first link is to a nice looking program, that supposedly supports multisession alot better.

The second link is to actual command line instructions on how to make cdrecord burn with mulitsession.

Cool

Thanks for the reply, I have had a breakthrough last night and solved the problem. I was running Yosemite Tapeware which leaves a daemon server running, this was interfering with the SCSI Bus and causing the problems, removal of this and al works a real treat, now I'm pleased and I have a smile, cookin cd's with linux...

Geoff.
