Multiple kernel-devel versions - problem?

I have been having many problems with multiple software, shared libraries and different versions of shared libraries and such. I am trying to identify the root cause and this simple question is a step towards that goal.

When I search for the version of kernel-devel installed I find two versions. Is this-
a) Big problem
b) small problem
c) depends

-sh-4.1$ rpm -q kernel-devel
kernel-devel-2.6.32-504.el6.x86_64
kernel-devel-2.6.32-431.11.2.el6.x86_64

Thank you,
M

Doesn't matter, as long as you use $(uname -r) every time you need to specify the kernel version (eg: when working with kernel modules)
