Multi Processor System?

Is there any command to find out if the system I am using is a single processor system or a multi processor system?

the publicly-readable file /proc/cpuinfo should contain all the info you need about cpu. Actually I never checked how it looks like in a MP system, but I suppose it's reported.

I have got a system with 2 CPUs.
But, /proc/cpuinfo is showing details about only one processor!

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
