hi,

how to connect the mssql server in php on redhat linux?
mssql library is needed to connect with?? if so, which library file was needed??/
Is it possible to connect through odbc??

plz help ..........

Kalidoss -

Yes, it's possible (and actually quite easy!) to use PHP with SQL Server. And yes, you can connect via ODBC.

All you need is the right SQL Server driver for your platform.

hi,

i installed freeTDS software for ODBC connection.
Installed well but while connecting the server using command

./tsql -S <ip_name> -U <user_name>

ADAPTIVE SERVER CONNECTION FAILED error is coming.
Not able to telnet the server. My configuratuion is
host = 10.10.192.6
port = 1433
tds version = 8.0

Anything wrong with that?
