A little off topic , but msn related , does anyone know the server name
and port # for msn chat ? Even though i dont use msn that often,i still have some friends there and would like to add the msn server to Xchat.

let's then first make sure that this is your firewall that is bugging us.
this means, you should stop iptables and try then. if you have redhat, try
Code:
service iptables stop
if you have some other distro, try
Code:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables stop
and then try sending a file.
it may also be your ISP who is blocking the connection. in estonia, it's very common, one of the two leading ISPs offers an ADSL with all ports closed, except 113.
