does anybody know if there is a program which i can use that connect to the msn messenger service.....i runnin mandy 8.2..thanx

GAIM... there are others but they don't work so well...

It is for MSN, it is distributed with half a dozen plugins, one client can service AIM, MSN, ICQ, IRC, Jabber, and a bunch of others.

no need for caps rverlander, and thanks dorward, you know where i can get some plugins?

Go to your options and you can specify it to use the msn plugin.. for the name of it, but you'll know when you see it. GAIM like they said above can be used for about every IM Service out there.. well at least the popular ones.

And yes this is asked all the time, a search will find your answers if you have any others.

As I said - they are distributed with gaim. You get gaim, you get the MSN plugin with it.

if u r using kde3

then there is a very good prog named kmerlin

u will find it on kde site www.kde.org

go there into applications and search for the name

i need help always when i wanna go on my name i have to retry always but when i go at someonelses computer and put my assword it goes very well but at my computer not why????

Are you referring to GAIM and logging into MSN ? If so, did you specify to use the msn plugin ?

This is a great little program that does MSN, AOL, YAHOO, ICQ, IRC and Jabber. It has file transfer capablities and will log on to all the networks at once if you wish. I have been using it for more then a year, and it just gets better and better all the time.
