MPLEX Crashes...Now what?
I have been trying for some time to be able to make a copy of my DVD's and always have a problem. I have tried DVD::Rip, ACIDRIP, DVDSHRINK...you name it, all fail. I always end up at the same point, I have the movie.m2v and movie.ac3, but can not get them to come together. I have diagnosed it down to mplex crashing, by trying:
mplex -f 8 -o dvd_movie.mpg movie.m2v movie.ac3
Below is an example of what I am running into. I am by no means a Linux guru to even know where to start figuring this one out! Any help is greatly appreciated.

No, I would not normally play like this as root, but I wanted to make sure it was nothing to do with permissions. Again, any help at all is greatly appreciated.
