mplayer1.0 vrs mplayer .91


Is the new version of mplayer stable. I am going to install one of the two from source, is their any reason I would not want to install the newer version. Are their many improvements.

im using the 1.0 one and it works just fine, no problems.. the one thing I like is the divx.com 5.0.5 compatibility

I had several crashes on mplayer on some movies (mpg's) in the 1.0 version, so i have decided to move back to 0.91...
