mplayer works but gmplayer doesn't?


Well I install mplayer with gmplayer and mplayer will play this .wmv, but gmplayer will not!
When I try to play the file in mplayer, it works fine and the command output is below

Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.
I'm running Ubuntu 6.10 with w32codecs installed.

Try using "-vo xv" with gmplayer.

Hi, try editing your ~/.mplayer/config file to include this:

Yep it works! Thanks. I changed it in my gui.conf as well so now it'll work all the time. Thanks.
