Mplayer window position save?

My mplayer hides behind gnome panel at launching.

So I should drag it up.

Is there any other way to save window position?

I want mplayer's internel function.

I'm not sure if this is what you wanted but you can run mplayer with following command:

Code:
mplayer -geometry 50%:50% <filename>
This will move your window to the very centre of the screen.
