I am using :

P200 MMX with;
3 Mb Memory in SiS Video Card;
3,2 Gb Hdd;
and 92Mb SDRAM.

And i have slackware 9.1 installed in my oldies box.
I have tried using Xine and Mplayer (both in compiling files and tgz package files) for playing VCD and movies
in my oldies box, but it just playing very slow, even in 2x zoom.
Any idea how to make it faster or normally play in my box? what should i do? or what should i use?
My friend's box is using P200, 32Mb, 1Gb is playing movies faster using Win98... it's not about the OS, but i just want to make my oldies fully useful for multimedia (xmms is playing ok).

Please let me know if there's a answer... I'am desperate with movies (and my bad english)....
