Hi all

I have compiled MPlayer-1.0pre7 and it works perfectly. The only problem is that -any- gui skin I use is not displayed correctly. You can see the controls, but it is chopped exactly in half from what that skin should look like. If you move the controls dashed and dotted lines appear all over the skin, making it unusable. It gets totally distorted, and you can no longer see the buttons.

It seems almost as if Mplayer is creating too small a screen bitmap to contain the GUI control. I've download and tried several skins, but all are distorted the moment you try to move them, and only display horizontal half of themselves when MPlayer is start upd.

Any ideas how I can fix this? I tried going back to 0.92.1, but the skin problem persists.
I am running RedHat 9 on a WinFast A350 XT TDH FX5900 based card with 128MB of RAM - before my recent upgrade attempt to 1.0pre7, Mplayer 0.92.1 was working fine with any skin for over a year, no distortions or anything.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help!
