Well, I tried with the totem-firefox plugin on ubuntu, using gstreamer (I think) on Ubuntu, and got just one still image. I'll try with xine soe other time, I'll post back then.

no, if you got still image, it's okay, you see, this stream is illegal, so not everytime it's running, sometimes it only shows still image. but i can't see even that. mplayer-plugin is only plugin working for me, i tried others but they were no good.

i checked stream source in win and it's:

mms://media.antik.sk/markiza

mplayer-plugin shows every sign of connecting, buffering, but then stops with this:

connecting to server media.antik.sk[87.244.192.159]:80...

i'll be thankful for any suggestion.

p.s. ten post som mohol kludne aj po slowensky(cesky) napisat, nie?

I think the problem may be here :

I find strange that mms:// should use the same port as http. What's more, I entered your location (mms://media.antik.sk/markiza) into the Totem 'Location' dialog box, and got that still image, but checked my firewall and it showed that totem was connecting on port 1755.
Try opening mplayer (or another player that supports streaming) and enter the stream source manually. It's the only idea i have.

P.S. Urcite to mohlo byt cesky. A jen doufam ze ti to bude fungovat; vim jaky to je byt daleko od domova.
