Why doesn't mplayer plugin show player controls on this website?
Why doesn't mplayer plugin show player controls (stop, pause, play) on the weather dot com website when you click on the video under "Video Top Story"? It shows a blank gray bar where the controls should be. I'm using Galeon, but it does the same thing if I try Mozilla.

No need this with mplayer. Use the arrows for fine searching and pageup/pagedown to advance quickly. Space for pause/play.

Thanks for your reply, but I'd rather have player control buttons that work. Anyone else got any ideas why it doesn't work?

Besides the mplayer package, there are also mplayer-gui and mplayer-skins packages. Do you have them installed also. I don't know it this would effect the appearance of a mozilla plugin however.
