Hey,
While backing up my dvd collection, i have been using mplayer to dump a video stream to my hard driver, then encoding that stream.
However,

mplayer dvd:// -alang en -dumpstream -dumpfile /home/ryan/dvdrip/2/sponge.dump
does not select the english channel. and it makes no difference where i put the language argument, it still only plays the german stream. Mplayer plays the english stream when i tell it to, through just playing the dvd, its just when it comes to dumping it.
Is there something im doing wrong?
