Mplayer MOV file oddity

OK...I have the latest version of Mplayer, I can watch.mov files on cds I have, but I tried to goto www.apple.com/trailers and watch some trailers. They're in .mov format and for some reason, mplayer WILL NOT PLAY IT and it says I need to DL a plug-in for a quicktime video. Mplayer supports QT videos. So I thought I would DL the windows zip, then view the file....yep, it's a mov file, and it says I don't have a plug-in when I try to open it.....WTF? I have other vids in mov format, and they work...why won't those?

did you install the mplayer plugin for the browser?
if ur on moz/firebird, check "Help->About Plug_Ins" to see if the mplayer plugin is there or not.
it works as i just saw the spidey 2 trailer from the apple site.

ANother wierd thing....is I DL'd it(instead of stream), and it seems as if non of my players work for it, kaffiene, mplayer...WTF? it's a mov file and mplayer says it supports it, but when I try to watch it, I come up with a plug-in error....

**edit**Since I upgraded to Mozilla 1.5 instead of using Konquerer, my browserplug-ins's were only installed to the Konquerer directory, so I just went to teh browser-plug-ins directory, and copied them all to my Mozilla plug-ins....

Thanks! Everything works now!
