mplayer length of audio/video

Hi,

i was wondering if there is a way to find out length of audio/video using mplayer and print it to output.

Something like this
# mplayer --print-length-to-output video.avi
154.4

What do you think?
I was not able to find out how to do that using mplayer. Thanks for answers.

as per the manpage, use the -identify option.
