Mplayer install problem

I'm trying to install Mplayer with apt in suse8.2 and get this message when I type
apt-get install mplayer-gui

linux:~ # apt-get install mplayer-gui
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package mplayer-gui has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list
E: Package mplayer-gui has no installation candidate

Can anyone tell me how to proceed from here?
Thanks.

Probably not your ideal answer, but you should be able to get the files you need here.
