Mplayer full screen problem

Hi all

I have had Mplayer working no problem, cli based no GUI. For some reason now when I play a movie, it plays at the original encoding frame size. I hit f for full screen and although the program reacts and puts full screen, the move is still the same size, just with massive black frame... I have tried all the -vo * and no help, what could have caused this? more importantly how can I fix it?

Also the w and e to zoom no longer work? Any suggestions?

As usual your help once again is appreciated.

I got full screen using -gl2, but it is VERY slow

This works for me

mplayer -zoom -fs filename

but how do I setup a .conf file to do this automatically so I do not have to type all this every time, I want to "mplayer filename"

Nick

Seen a few do this before. It may depend on media type.
Other than that not sure.

problems still

I have this problem only after online update. Never had this problem with SUSE9.3 10, or 10.2, until I updated machine.

I have tried all -vo which im sure u know, some are totally incompatible

alas i will have to run "mplayer -zoom -fs [file_name]

unless someone has any other suggestions?

Nick
