MPlayer Fatal Error!

I seem to get this error when I try and play any file in MPlayer:

Code:
Error Opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.
Does anyone know what can be done to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Kristijan.

EDIT: If more information regarding hardware is needed, just ask

just use another video output device and see if you have luck that way ...
at prompt type :
mplayer -vo help
to see a list of available options
so you will end up typing something like this in the end ...
mplayer -vo x11 movie.avi

please provide FULL mplayer output, this could be caused by dozens of different things, permissions, device names, available libraries, your configuration....

Thanks DrOzz and acid_kewpie, I have fixed the problem. I couldnt seem to find the config icon, the theme I'm using seemed to hide it pretty nicely

All that was needed is to change witch drivers I was using.
