mplayer codec ...


hello ,
i am trying to play a .wmv file using mplayer ... and i get this out put ...

It looks like mplayer looked for the codec it needs in the places it would expect to find it, and didn't find it. So I don't think you have w32codec-all installed. You haven't said what ditro you use, so I don't know where you can find the right package. SuSE ones are available at http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3?stat...-all&srodzaj=3

For me mplayer is associated with ram files, but I don't have any to test it with.

hello ,

i use mandriva 2006 ,it searchs avisynth.dll and not finding it ..?!

I had this problem also, this should fix it.

Just copy avisynth.dll to /usr/lib/win32

Post the link that you are trying to play.

Use curl to see where the file is actually sitting. Then play that link. You may also need to use the -playlist option to avoid that error.
