mplayer changing audio position?

I have video file with a bad audio track which plays 92frames after the video has started...
is there a way to fixs this. I have tried looking at the mplayer docs as well as
the mencoder docs as well as searched google with no success.

If anyone can help me with this problem I thank you....

Not sure, but did you try the "autosync" options in mplayer?
