mplayer and shockwave problems in mozilla 1.6
Hello,
well I have unfortunately a lot of problems with the connections between mozilla and mplayer (plugin) and due to some trials as well a problem with the shockwave plugin. I have already found some help-links in which these problems are mentioned but up to now I can't get the link to my problem (maybe also because of not enough experiience). Nevertheless I have tried all for days and now I'm too desillusioned to find more links in the internet. So maybe someone could guide me a little time through my highly visible linux-system. My problem is as follows:
If I start mozilla in a shell, I get a message that mplayer can't be initialized:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /root/.mozilla/plugins/mplayerplug-in.so [/usr/local/lib/libXpm.so.3: undefined symbol: xpmColorKeys]
Then of course the plugin isn't loaded. What could I do? Would it be helpful to install the plugger5.0-software?
Other but independent problem occurs when I go to a side containing a mediaflash. Then mozilla breaks down immediately and the answer is:
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkSuperWin' to `GtkWidget'
Already known and maybe has something to do with different gtk-versions or glibc-versions... I don't know. Maybe someone has a clue to get me right out of that or at least to help me on a little bit.
Thanks a lot,
Daniel
