Mplayer & Ogle aspect ratio

I have just succeeded in installing Mplayer and Ogle. All works ok except the picture width is too narrow - people are too thin. I am using KDE3.03 on Mandrake 8.2 with screen resolution set to 1024x778 - 24 bit color. What do I need to correct the width of the display (maintaining the 1024x768 setting)?

Another problem that bugs me, is that I have to mount the CDrom drive using the shell in superuser mode. The CDrom line in /etc/fstab looks like this:

/dev/hdc /cdrom iso9660 user,owner,exec,dev,suid,ro,uid=501,gid=501,umask=0,iocharset=iso8859-15 0 0

Can I change this to supermount or automount? If the answer is yes, how should the line read?

I tried entering "supermount -enable" in the shell but received the response "command not found".
