I installed mplayer on rh 7.3. When i tried to use it, i couldn't go past the menue screen w/out the program quitting. After i would run mplayer, i also couldn't eject my dvd device (/mnt/cdrom) and my system would freeze when i tried to shutdown. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
