I just got a new MP3 Player and was wanting to know what is the best Linux software to sync my music to my player. I would use Windows Media Player but it doesn't support OGG files and I'm not in windows that often.
It really depends on the mp3 player. My mp3 player (an iAudio m3) is just a standard USB hard drive; I can just use a file manager or the command line to copy music files over. I'm pretty sure iPods require iTunes, though. What kind of mp3 player do you have?
I can use Konqueror to get into the player and copy files. I just wanted something that would help me manage my files better. I don't have the files organized on my hard drive because its easy to scroll to the one I want. While on the MP3 player you need to setup folders or you will be holding the scroll key forever. I guess I'm looking for something like what WMP does but in Linux.
