mozilla support for NTLM doesn't work?

Hi,
I'm trying to use mozilla with a Microsoft Proxy Server that uses NTLM. The last one or two releases claim to support this [I'm using 1.5b at the moment], but I haven't been able to get it to work. Is there some small thing I'm missing? I've just plain and simple entered the proxy details, there isn't a random box somewhere saying "uses NTLM authentication" somewhere, is there? At the moment, I have to use a separate NTLM APS.

So I guess what I'm asking is, has anyone got this to work, or can anyone enlighten me to my desperate plight?
