Mozilla Sunbird

I've recently discovered Mozilla Sunbird and I think that it's a good basis to develop into an awesome calendar scheduling program. My question is, currently its on version 0.2b. Is there any news on the development of the project? I've searched around the Mozilla forums but did not really find a lot of useful information. Perhaps someone here has more info.

Unhappy Is it dying or dead?

I was pondering the same. It's not live & kicking, but is there still development or has the lack of developers killed off the project?
