mozilla flash plugin install

I'm running mozilla 1.1 on slackware 8.1 and would like to install the flash/shockwave plugin. I downloaded the latest, flash 5, from macromedia's site and I wanted to install the plugin system-wide, so the instructions said to put the 2 plugin files in /usr/lib/netscape/plugins. But the problem is, I don't have a netscape directory or mozilla directory or anything related to that in /usr/lib. Do i need to create the directory /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins myself and put them in there or what?

have a search for libnullplugin.so, this should be in your mozilla plugins directory (or netscape i expect)

find / -iname libnullplugin.so

*should* tell you the directory you want
