Mozilla-Firefox, Debian and wrl format

hello forum,
i'm linex user (debian distro), i'm teacher and linex is in my school, i mean the distro is unchangeable... sorry my english
i use Mozilla-Firefox
i need to edit wrl files (wrote in VRML 2.0) and:
our repository (linex.org) doesn't include any VRML editor, i have seen FreeWRL, OpenVRML and others in the web, but:
i have installed freewrl (dpkg -i freewrl_1.10-2_i386.deb) but it need librairies (like libperl.so...) and i don't kown if i'll have problems with them and Mozilla-Firefox hasn't pluggins for it...
How can i edit this files with M-F?
i 'm sure you see i'm not an specialist
thank you very much
