Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird

i can't simply not get the installations for Firefox and Thunderbird on my OS ( Mandrake 10.0 Official)

when i start the installations files it only start a window for 1 ns and then i quit. When i did check the requiements for the programs it told that it was used on Redhat 8.0, Is this why i can't install the programs?

I didn't actually think there was an installer for Thunderbird - only firefox and mozilla.

If you start the programs from a terminal do you get any output at all?

i use Whitebox (only thing close is that it also uses RPMs to install packets) but with yum i was able to install thunderbird. i was unsuccessful getting firefox to install via yum and have not downloaded the tar.bz to try to install it that way.

get the right rpms for Mandrake using urpmi and your problem will be solved. To find out how to configure urpmi, go to http://www.urpmi.org/easyurpmi
