mozilla composer and php

Hi Guys,

I created a php test file and opened it. I verified that it works. Then I wanted to add couple of html lines. In order to do that, I tried to open this .php file in mozilla composer but it did not open.

I have found couple of web sites where people are complaining about same thing but there was no solution.

Does any of you had similiar problem? Is there php support in mozilla composer? Is there any composer where I can open .php files?

regards,
yusuf

Try bluefish

I have never used PHP.

I have used Bluefish on HTML and Bluefish works very nicely. One of the Bluefish features is that is supports PHP. So, if I had some work to do dealing with PHP Bluefish is the first program that I would try.

I think the problem is that your composer doesn't realise that .php is a plain text file that you want to edit. There may be something in the settings to reflect this, or else adding the .php extension to your system file extensions may clear up the problem.

If not, use a better editor, there's a million of them.
