mozilla bookmark backup possible?

I have a system that has been running as a dual boot for some time. Now that I am clearing the hard drive and starting fresh, is there a way to back up my existing bookmarks from a mozilla install on a windows machine so I could later move them to my debian system?

Look for the file called bookmarks.html and just copy it to your ~.firefox or ~.mozilla directory over the existing bookmarks.html

Or you can export your bookmaks, at least in firefox, buy going to
Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks->file->export..

This will let you export your bookmark as a html document that you can later import
